Literature Text

Sweet summer flower; forgive my heart of flame,
You see I watch you from afar, afraid to call out your name.
The wind makes you sway and dance with a passion,
And it fuels the flames of my desire, and my affection.
Though I light the darkness, you light up my life,
But should I ever get close to you, I'd be only blight.
Try to follow me and I fear you will die,
Burned away by my nature as I cross the sky.
No, my dear flower, stay in your home; know not of my love,
But please, look for my fire in the stars far above.
See me and dream that I watch you with care,
As you dance in my light with the wind in your hair
A poem I wrote about the Sun's Love for a certain flower.

Ok, it was actually a poem written by my character Edan, about Starraven's character Dardana, also known as Dara.
